Indiana Woman Accused of Marrying Biological Father While Still Married

An Indiana woman, 44-year-old Kimberly Tempel, has been accused of marrying her biological father, 59-year-old Bradley McCollum, while still legally married to another man. Authorities claim she provided false information on a marriage license and attempted bigamy. Reports suggest the marriage was intended to allow Tempel to collect McCollum’s $350 monthly Veterans Affairs benefits while he was in prison.

Both Tempel and McCollum falsely claimed on their marriage application that they were not closely related. Additionally, McCollum, a convicted sex offender, failed to disclose his status. After his release, the two briefly lived together before he was sent back to prison for a probation violation.

Tempel has since been released from custody, while McCollum remains behind bars. Investigations have confirmed their father-daughter relationship through paternity tests. The case continues to unfold as authorities review the legal implications of their actions.
